i2 FAST is committed to producing accurate and reliable analytical data using methods which utilise the latest instrumentation and technology. We employ industry standard methods as published and where appropriate including:

To ensure customer confidence, we operate a rigorously audited management and quality control system to leading industry standards. Participation in laboratory proficiency schemes such as FAPAS (Food Analysis Performance Assessment Scheme), QMS (Quality in Microbiology Scheme) and QWAS (Quality in Water Assurance Scheme) ensures all laboratory testing is fit for purpose.
Transparency, integrity and honesty are core business values which we welcome customers to verify through their own audits of our site and procedures.
UKAS is the sole national accreditation body recognised by the UK Government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. Our laboratory in Poland is assessed by UKAS to determine compliance with the ISO 17025 accreditation standard.
i2 FAST achieved UKAS accreditation in Spring 2019 and we can demonstrate the quality of our competence, impartiality and performance capabilities.
In addition to customer audits, we are audited by UKAS on an annual basis and are dedicated to continuing our work to expand on our scope of accreditation.
As a result, our customers can have confidence in the quality of our data and in the provision of our services.
In 2019, the Campden BRI Retailer Supplementary Audit (RSA) Scheme was established, with M&S and Tesco, to provide a common supplementary audit scheme, for retailers to recognise Microbiology Laboratories that undertake pathogen tests on their own label products and related materials.
