Update to Out of Specification reporting
Since opening in May of 2019, i2 FAST has led with the business ethos of continual improvement through ongoing IT software and innovation development, as well as constant review of process flows.
By inputting your requirements into an IT solution, the possibility of errors is hugely reduced, and allows an element of automation which speeds up process time, and ensures your results are received as quickly as possible.
We have recently completed an IT solution specifically focusing on the Out of Specification reporting requirements. The system allows a level of granular reporting that historically was not possible to automate.
Summary of changes:
Full IT automation and OOS information management of your specific requirements
Automatic identification of requirement of phone calls, linked to the results database, informing all staff of this requirement
Allocation of all relevant staff contact details to receive notifications at a branch level
Ability to provide “Presumptive ND” results as part of the OOS report, despite this result not being an OOS result
Ability to link OOS requirements to individual tests/groups of tests
How will this differ to what I am currently receiving?
To allow provision of very specific OOS reporting requirements, various “OOS Groups” needed creating. You may therefore see an increase in the number of e-mails based on your individual requirements
Both a PDF and an Excel file format have been included in the OOS e-mail for your convenience
Historical system constraints meant all Amber and Red results were provided as OOS. The update now allows allocation of specific requirements. Therefore, unless specifically requested, Amber results will no longer be issued.
